Augusto Algueró Dasca (February 23, 1934 - January 16, 2011) was a Spanish arranger, composer and music director. Born in Barcelona, Algueró split his student days in the Municipal Conservatory with Medical School, but started his musical career in the early 1950s aged just 16. Among his most famous compositions are Penélope, which he wrote specially for Joan Manuel Serrat, as well as Noelia (Nino Bravo), Tómbola (Marisol) and La chica ye-ye (Concha Velasco). <a href="https://www.last.fm/music
