Die Aurubis AG (ehemals Norddeutsche Affinerie) mit Sitz in Hamburg ist ein börsennotierter Kupferproduzent sowie Kupferwiederverwerter. Nach der Übernahme des belgischen Kupferproduzenten Cumerio durch die Norddeutsche Affinerie AG im Jahr 2008 firmiert das Unternehmen seit April 2009 als Aurubis.Das Unternehmen produziert jährlich über eine Million Tonnen Kupferkathoden, stellt daraus diverse Kupferprodukte her und beschäftigt dazu mehr als 7.000 Mitarbeiter.
