Automatic Packet Reporting System (of APRS) is een digitaal informatieplatform dat gebruikmaakt van radiogolven op de frequentiebanden voor amateurradio. Het systeem is gebaseerd op -modulatie en werkt veelal met een datasnelheid van 1200 baud. Ook is er een terugkoppeling naar APRS Internet System (APRS-IS), een internetbackbone waardoor het APRS-verkeer wereldwijd wordt uitgewisseld.
