風船(ふうせん、balloon、バルーン)とは、ゴムや紙、ビニールなどで作られた袋の中に気体を入れて膨らませて使われる玩具である。気体が水素やヘリウムといった浮揚性のあるガスの場合には、さらに持ち手となる糸やリボンを装着することがある。 風船は玩具のほか、販促(PR)、ギフトやイベントなどのバルーンデコレーション・風船飛ばし(バルーンリリース)、スポーツ応援、大道芸を含むバルーンアート、手品、科学実験イベント、風船バレー・風船割りなどのレクリエーションスポーツや遊戯施設、食品包装、医療分野などに使われているが、もっとも用途が広いのはゴム製の風船である。 また、風船の同義語として用いられる「気球(ききゅう)」という名称は、気象観測用ゴム気球やアドバルーンと呼ばれる気球広告、乗用の熱気球など、より実用的な用途のものに対し用いられることが多い。 なお、日本の大正や昭和期の文学作品に登場する「風船玉」という言葉は現在のゴム風船のことである。
