Bārta (in Latvian), also named Bartuva (in Lithuanian), is a river in western Lithuania and Latvia. It originates in the Plungė district, 3 km to north of Lake Plateliai. The Bārta flows in a northwesterly direction, passing through the Skuodas district and the city of Skuodas, before entering Latvia. The Bārta flows into Liepāja lake, which is connected with the Baltic Sea. In its upper courses the valley formed by the Bārta is deep and narrow, while in its lower courses it is much wider.

O Bartuva (Bārta na Letónia) é um rio no oeste da Lituânia e Letónia. Começa no distrito de Plunge, a 3 km ao norte do . O Bartuva segue na direção noroeste, passando pelo distrito e cidade de , antes de entrar no território letão. A partir desse ponto o Bartuva segue para o lago Liepāja, que é ligado com o Mar Báltico. Na parte superior do vale Bārta cursos é profundo e estreito, embora em menor cursos torna-se muito mais amplo. Os principais afluentes do Bartuva são: Eiškūnas, Erla, Luoba, APSE, Vārtāja.
