We at Behringer believe in carefully listening to you and providing you with life-changing products at prices so you can fulfill your musical dreams. Founded in 1989, as a struggling musician and sound engineer, Uli Behringer couldn't afford the necessary equipment for his own studio. Initially building products for himself only, he soon supplied them for his friends, too. This led to Behringer's philosophy to deliver life-changing products at prices everyone can afford. We obsessively focus on our Customers in the Live Portable Sound, Musician, Recording, DJ/EDM and Broadcast verticals. "The best products aren't designed in boardrooms—they're co-created with the people who use them every day." From humble beginnings to a global movement, here's how we got here. Uli Behringer, the company's founder, was committed to music and technology from a very early age, and had constructed a synthesizer (the UB-1) by the age of 16. Uli Behringer moved to Düsseldorf to study piano and sound engineering, launching his first Digital Reverb that same year. Behringer evolved from a startup into a global leader, defined by its iconic logo featuring a stylized ear and Uli’s name inside a triangle. Behringer evolved from a startup into a global leader, defined by its iconic logo featuring a stylized ear and Uli’s name inside a triangle. Shortly after I arrived in Dusseldorf I met and dated a beautiful girl who was also a great singer (guess that did the job) and whose father was the general manager of one of the most famous chocolate manufacturers in Germany called Storck. Originally "Made in Germany," this analog summing compressor was a breakthrough for broadcast-quality audio. It proved that even the most sophisticated technology could be made accessible without sacrificing quality. The COMPOSER became the best-selling compressor of all time, and Uli Behringer’s move to China revolutionized the industry by making professional tools affordable for everyone. Behringer launched the EURODESK MX8000 flagship console, CYBERMIX automation, EURORACK mixers, ULTRACURVE digital EQ, SUPER-X crossovers, and ULTRAVOICE microphones. Behringer shifted manufacturing focus, launched the SHARK DSP110, and debuted the Digital 1000 Series in 1997, making high-end rack processing accessible to everyone. Behringer launched the MX9000 and EURORACK mixers, introduced the tube-driven T-Series, and entered the DJ market in 1999 with the iconic DX1000. In 1999, Behringer launched the GEQ3102 EQ, the EUROLIVE B300 active speaker, and the iconic TRUTH monitor series. Behringer expanded EUROLIVE with passive PA speakers and launched its first guitar amp, the BLUE DEVIL GX112, featuring built-in multi-effects. Bugera guitar and bass amplifiers combine rich tone, INFINIUM Valve-Multiplier Technology, and boutique-style features at accessible prices. Since debuting its first lineup at NAMM 2007, Bugera has become a trusted choice for guitarists and bass players worldwide. In 2003, Music Tribe launched Music Tribe University, debuted the EUROPOWER EP amplifiers, and won "Gear of the Year" for its bass amp lineup. Behringer launched the B-CONTROL line for computer studios and the HPX and HPS headphone series for DJs and creators. Behringer launched the best-selling DJX700 mixer, entered the stage lighting market with EUROLIGHT, and introduced ULM2000 wireless audio. In 2005, Bugera launched with INFINIUM tech, the FCA202 FireWire interface debuted, and the BCD2000 won a Tech Award. Behringer expanded its live-sound range with PMP mixers and launched the METALIEN USB guitar, STOMPBOX bundles, and EUROGRAND digital pianos. Midas and Klark Teknik, prestigious Pro Audio brands and known for iconic products, like the Midas XL8 console, the Klark Teknik DN370 Graphic EQ, join the family of Music Tribe brands in 2009. Uli Behringer redesigned the logo for simplicity with Anna Pahnke, while Music Tribe City earned ISO certification, solidifying the company’s gl
