== Population == According to the 2016 census of Population, there were 3,181 people in Beresfield. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people made up 5.6% of the population. 86.0% of people were born in Australia and 89.4% of people only spoke English at home. The most common responses for religion were No Religion 25.5%, Anglican 25.2% and Catholic 24.9%.
