Born: 10 February 1936, Brooklyn, New York. Background: Popular composer, conductor, arranger, pianist and songwriter, the son of the famed percussionist, teacher, and author Morris Goldenberg. Studied at Columbia College, and began his career writing incidental music for Broadway plays and shows, before embarking on a career in film music in the late 1960s.
