Birbalomys is an extinct genus of rodent from Asia.
The -long creature has been thought to have been a member of the extant gundi family, but reconstructions of its physical appearance are speculative. Birbalomys bear resemblance with the Ctenodactyloidea, Chapattimyidae, and Yuomyidae families.
