Boromo

It is the capital of both the department and the province, and it has a population of 20,193 (2019). thumb|left|Calabash makers in Boromo Boromo is located directly between the two major cities of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso. It is a city with many natural resources, including gold and fish. The major activity in this zone is agriculture. Boromo is a "melting pot" where you will find many ethnic groups, including Mossi, Dioula, Dafing, Bobo and Winiens (or Kos).

Boromo es una ciudad de la provincia de Balé, en la región Boucle du Mouhoun, Burkina Faso. A 9 de diciembre de 2006 tenía una población censada de 14 594 habitantes. Se encuentra ubicada en el centro-oeste del país, cerca de la principal ruta de Uagadugú a Bobo-Dioulasso y del parque nacional de Deux Balés, famoso por sus manadas de elefantes.
