Bounce is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by John Weidman. It tells the story of Addison Mizner and his brother Wilson Mizner's adventures across America from the beginning of the 20th century during the Alaskan Gold rush to the Florida real estate boom in the 1930s. Bounce è l'ottavo album in studio dei Bon Jovi, pubblicato nel 2002 dalla Island Records. Come il precedente Crush, anche questo disco fu registrato presso i Sanctuary II Studio (New Jersey), e sempre con Luke Ebbin nel ruolo di produttore. La realizzazione di Bounce fu fortemente influenzata dagli attentati dell'11 settembre 2001 e, infatti, il titolo dell'album fa riferimento a New York e alla sua capacità di riprendersi dopo gli attacchi terroristici. Un altro significato del titolo del disco, però, potrebbe essere relativo alla bravura dei Bon Jovi di aver saputo appunto "rimbalzare" (traduzione in italiano di "Bounce") nel corso degli anni.
