Bramayugam was released on 15 February 2024 in black-and-white format. It received positive reviews from critics with praise for the cast performances, cinematography, music and production design. The film was a box office success, grossing over 85 crore and became one of the highest grossing Malayalam films of 2024. Mammootty won his 7th Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance as Kodumon Potti in the film.
