Buea is the capital of the Southwest Region of Cameroon. Separatists consider Buea to be the capital of Ambazonia.

Get in

You can get into Buea by land with the use of transport buses or private cars or the local transport cars commonly called Clandos. By land, you can enter the town using the Mutengene-Buea road. The first areas you will meet are the suburbs of Mile 14 and Mile 16.

Get around

The main means of transportation are taxis. Motorbikes are allowed to circulate only within quarters.
