AI overview

Caste is a hereditary system of social hierarchy found in India that traditionally determines a person's occupation, social status, and place in society based on their birth. It matters because it has historically affected access to education, employment, and social opportunities for millions of people, particularly those classified as "Scheduled Castes" like the Basor community.
