Castel d'Aiano (Emilian: Castèl d'Ajàn) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Bologna, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. It is located in the Bolognese Apennines, near the boundary between the metropolitan area of Bologna and the province of Modena.
The municipality borders Gaggio Montano, Montese, Vergato and Zocca. Its territory includes the hamlets of Casigno, Rocca di Roffeno, Santa Maria di Labante, Sassomolare and Villa d'Aiano. The mayor is Rossella Chiari, elected in May 2023.
