Castro ist eine südostitalienische Gemeinde (comune) mit 2344 Einwohnern (Stand 31. Dezember 2019) 98 m über dem Meer auf dem Pizzo Mmucurune in der Provinz Lecce in Apulien. Die Gemeinde liegt etwa 35 Kilometer südsüdöstlich von Lecce im Salento an der Adriaküste. Zahlreiche Grotten und ein kleiner Hafen befinden sich dort.
