Cerisano is a town and comune in the province of Cosenza in the Calabria region of southern Italy.

==History== According to some hypotheses, the town was founded by the Oenotrians, around the fifteenth century BC. In this account, Cerisano would have been known to the Greeks as the Citerium, Citerion.
