Charles Lindsay has a Bsc. in Geology and worked in mineral exploration in the Canadian Arctic before turning full time to photography. He lived for years with one of the last in tact stone age tribes in Indonesia, where he made his first audio recordings, then based for a decade in Japan from where he traveled as a photojournalist, concerned mainly with environmental issues.
