==Introduction== Shivapur, the old name of Chaudadanapur (Chaudayyadanapur) comes from a 12th-century saint and social reformer Basaveshwar, who donated this village to Ambigara Chaudayya (a boatman). The current name is therefore Chaudayyadanapur or Chaudadanapur.
