Cheiradenia is een monotypisch geslacht met slechts één soort orchideeën uit de onderfamilie Epidendroideae. Cheiradenia cuspidata is een kleine epifytische plant die groeit op bemoste bomen en rotsen in de warme, vochtige regenwouden van het noordelijke Amazonegebied.
