Cheiry (; , locally ) is a former municipality in the district of Broye in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. In 2021 the municipality of Cheiry merged into the municipality of Surpierre.
==History== Cheiry is first mentioned around 1184-85 as Chirie, when the bishop of Lausanne Roger de Vico Pisano donated it and Surpierre's churches to the priory of Saint-Maire in Lausanne, confirmed by Pope Lucius III.
