Chieri’76 is the club chaired by Filippo Vergnano, recently appointed Vice President of the Women’s Volleyball League Serie A. Chieri’76 is today a great reality full of values that promotes and shares through the discipline of volleyball. The Club finds its highest expression in the First Team which plays in the top division of the Italian championship. Thanks to its achievements in 2022/23 season, it has become part of the excellence of women’s volleyball , both nationally and internationally. Chieri’76 boasts one of the best Youth Sectors in Italy – Club76 – and it is the only club playing in the Serie A to have men’s and women’s Sitting Volleyball teams: key assets that help to create additional value for the Club. In addition to sports practice, Chieri’76 is a very active reality involved in initiatives for territory and social activities too . Its steady commitment in these areas is made with the aim of raising awareness of respect for the environment and people. This season sees Club Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri’76 engaged in Italy in Serie A1 Championship and in Europe with its debut in the CEV Cup. Considering the results obtained in Italy and Europe this is the season with the highest number of victories. Club Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri’76 achieved the best placing in its history in the Regular Season, placing in fourth place. The season was also crowned with the victory of the Wezva Cup and the CEV Challenge Cup. The year of promotion to Serie A1. Chieri’76 celebrates its tenth sport season by landing in Italy’s top league, the Olympus of pink volleyball. The goal of Serie A2. A season full of satisfactions: confirmation of the Second Division also for the following season and access to the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup. Chieri’76 was officially born on May 14, 2009. Its history dates to 1976, the year in which Pallavolo Chieri was born. A club that disappeared a few years before the founding of the current club, which climbed all categories up to A1 and won a prestigious European Cup in 2005.
