銚子市（ちょうしし）は、千葉県北東部の市。関東地方の東端に位置し、日本列島で最も早く初日の出が昇る。水揚数量が全国1位である銚子漁港を擁し、国内有数の規模と機能を有する水産都市として重要な役割を果たしている。江戸時代元和年間より続く醤油の銘醸地でもあり、市内には醤油製造工場が集積する。香取・海匝地域最大の人口集中地区を有し、同地域の中心都市である。
