Chris Curtis (real name: Cristopher Crummy, born 26 August 1941 in Oldham, Lancashire, United Kingdom; died 28 February 2005 in Aintree, Liverpool, United Kingdom) was the drummer of The Searchers from 1962 to 1966. He left the band that year after a serious nervous breakdown. Chris Curtis recorded some solo singles for Pye, including the dance floor banger 'Aggravation' (1966), which hit #19 in the U.K. Singles Charts. He then became a producer for the same company. <a href="https://www.la
