Chunhuhub is a town in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, localized in state center, in the municipality of Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The population was 4,644 inhabitants at the 2010 census.

== History == Chunhuhub is located in what was once the pre-Hispanic Maya province of Cochuah. Its name, derived from the Maya word for the trunk of the huhub tree, refers to a local species similar to pine that once grew abundantly in the area. The town served as an important stopover for travelers moving from Mérida toward other settlements in the Maya province of Uaymil, as well as along the routes to Bacalar and Petén.
