Coaster is a duo from Utrecht, the Netherlands. The songwriting of multi-instrumentalists Bart Appel en Paul Dijkman builds upon the lo-fi and slowcore ideas of the 90s and 00s, drawing comparisons to Duster, Red House Painters, Low and Elliott Smith. The duo, primarily guitarists, quickly bonded over their shared love for quiet and slow music. In 2021 they released the EP 'Nothing Contagious', which they recorded in their bedrooms. April 6th is the release of their debut LP 'Painting Faces'.

Coaster es el undécimo álbum de estudio de NOFX. Fue distribuido por la discográfica Fat Wreck Chords. Salió a la venta el 28 de abril de 2009. Unas semanas antes de su salida, el sello Fat Wreck puso a través de su página web el tema "The Quitter" para descargar. El álbum entero se filtró antes de su salida oficial. Como dato curioso, la canción "Eddie, Bruce and Paul" habla del grupo de heavy metal británico Iron Maiden. La edición en vinilo del disco lleva otro título, Frisbee.
