海葡萄屬(Coccoloba)是蓼科下的一屬有花植物,其下約有120-150個物種。它們生長在美洲的熱帶及亞熱帶地區,如南美洲、加勒比海及中美洲,另有兩個物種在美國佛羅里達州。 海葡萄屬都是灌木或小樹,大部份都是常綠植物。葉子互生,一般都是大葉,幼生時的葉子更大,成熟後的葉子往往會呈不同形狀。花朵呈穗狀。果實是三角的胞果,被鮮艷的花被所包裹,一些品種的果實是可以食用的,不過大多具有澀味。
