Coexist es el segundo álbum de estudio del grupo indie pop inglés The xx, lanzado el 5 de septiembre de 2012 por el sello discográfico Young Turks. Después de tomarse un descanso de la gira de su álbum de 2009 para el debut del álbum xx, los miembros del grupo comenzaron a escribir canciones individualmente antes de grabar el álbum entre noviembre de 2011 y mayo de 2012. La guitarrista Romy Madley Croft y el bajista Oliver Sim basaron los temas en sus experiencias personales. Para Coexist, The XX presentó la música electrónica compuesta cuando estaban de gira en 2010. El álbum fue producido por el miembro del grupo Jamie xx, quien había sido seguidor de la danza electrónica en otros proyectos y que contaba con experiencia como disc-jockey antes del álbum.
