C'est le dernier film dans lequel Gaspard Ulliel a tourné avant de mourir, mais le premier film à sortir après sa mort. Le film est présenté en avant-première mondiale en compétition dans la section « Encounters » lors de la Berlinale 2022 le 12 février 2022, où il remporte le prix FIPRESCI.
