Control is de film die Anton Corbijn maakte over het leven van Joy Division-zanger Ian Curtis. Het is gebaseerd op zijn weduwe Deborah Curtis' boek Touching From a Distance uit 1996. Het boek gaat hoofdzakelijk over de opkomst en het succes van Joy Division, het turbulente huwelijksleven van Ian en Deborah en de persoonlijke problemen en de dood van Ian.
