Cuenca es una provincia española de la comunidad autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha, con capital en la ciudad homónima de Cuenca. Cuenta con una población de 196 139 personas (INE 2020), de los que alrededor de un 27,84 % viven en la capital. La zona noreste de la provincia está dominada por el sistema Ibérico, mientras que al suroeste se extiende la llanura manchega. Tiene 238 municipios y una extensión total de 17 141 km², siendo la quinta provincia de mayor extensión del país.
