Dâmbovicioara is a commune in Argeș County, Muntenia, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Ciocanu, Dâmbovicioara, and Podu Dâmboviței.

==Geography== Nestled on the southern slopes of the Southern Carpathians, the commune is located in the northeastern extremity of Argeș County, on the border with Brașov County. It is crossed by national road DN73, which connects the county seat, Pitești, to the southwest, to the municipality of Brașov, to the northeast.
