Darkfall (also known as Darkfall Online) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released 2009 by Aventurine SA that combines real-time action and strategy in a fantasy setting. Featuring unrestricted PvP, complete looting, and a player skill dependent combat system, Darkfall is the only MMO to offer such freedom and has spawned a huge community. Aventurine has sold the license of Darkfall Online to two independent companies, Ub3rgames and Big Picture Games.

Darkfall — фэнтезийная MMORPG, разработка греческой компании Aventurine SA, совмещает элементы РПГ и стратегических элементов в фэнтезийном сеттинге. Игра включает в себя неограниченный PvP и динамический мир, изменяющийся благодаря действиям игроков. Особенности игры: в Darkfall нельзя выделять цель для последующей её атаки (боевая система здесь максимально приближена к 3D Action играм, т. н. TPS), нет отображаемых над персонажами имён, и сейф-зон, при смерти персонаж теряет всё своё имущество, нет уровневой системы. Ролевая система основана на скиллах, которые развиваются по мере их использования.
