Dave Catching (born June 7, 1961) is an American musician from Memphis, Tennessee. He has played the guitar for well-known rock bands Queens of the Stone Age, earthlings? and Mondo Generator. He is also a member of Eagles of Death Metal, Yellow #5, and The Gnarltones. He regularly appears on the music improv series, The Desert Sessions. He also appears as guitarist/organist on the two albums of the Mark Lanegan Band. In the early 80's, he was in a band called Cock Rock, that played at the legend
