Dave Malloy (born January 4, 1976) is an American composer, best known for his award winning electropop opera, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, and his chamber musical Ghost Quartet. Malloy grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland suburb, and began making theater in San Francisco in 2000.
