Dave was a founder member of the 'progressive' rock group Caravan, whose debut album was released in 1968. He was in and out of the band during their long life, leaving for the last time in October 2002. Apart from working at his piano restoring business, he spent most of 2003 recording two albums entitled "Full Circle" and "Into The Sun", which were released in 2004.
