David Britton (1942-1992) was a concert and church organist who taught music at the Caltech Division of Humanities and Social Sciences in Altadena, Southern California. Educated at the Eastman School of Music and the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Britton came to Los Angeles originally to teach at Loyola Marymount University.
