David Holmes (born January 1, 1981) is a British podcast host and former stunt performer. He is best known for being Daniel Radcliffe's stunt double in the first six Harry Potter movies. In January 2009, while test filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Holmes injured his spine in an accident during one of the stunts. He was left paralysed and now uses a wheelchair. David Holmes is a Northern Irish DJ, musician and composer. Holmes was born on 14 February 1969, the youngest of ten children. Holmes began DJing in the pubs of his native Belfast from the age of 15. His first hit was the song "DeNiro", with Ashley Beedle, in 1992.
