دیوید تریمبل

David Trimble (1944–2022) was a British politician, university teacher, and barrister born in Belfast. He held citizenship in the United Kingdom and served as a member of the Privy Council. A member of the Conservative Party and the Ulster Unionist Party, he was also affiliated with the Orange Order. Trimble received the Nobel Peace Prize and held the noble title of baron.

He was educated at Queen’s University Belfast, where he also worked as an employer. His political career included candidacies in the 1992, 1997, 2001, and 2005 United Kingdom general elections. He worked in London, Northern Ireland, and Ulster. Trimble’s published works include "Trimble sets the record straight" and his Nobel Peace Prize speech from 10 December 1998. He died in Belfast.
