Founded in 1993 by Marcus and Joni Lamb, Daystar has grown from a single Christian station in Dallas–Fort Worth (KMPX) into the largest Christian broadcast network in the world. We seek out every available means of distribution to a world in need of hope. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a holy and victorious life. Being born again is the only means of being cleansed of sin, and receiving the free gift of eternal life is through repentance and faith in the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ and accepting Him as personal Savior and Lord.
