Sign in to saveAlso known as D-Mark, German mark, DM, Deutschmark, DEM, DE-Mark
ex valuta della Germania (1948-2002)
The Deutsche Mark was the official money used in West Germany starting in 1948, and later in the unified Germany until 2002, when it was replaced by the euro. It matters historically because it represented Germany's economic recovery after World War II and was used for over 50 years before the country adopted a shared European currency.

Era suddiviso in 100 Pfennig. In realtà, però, fino all'inizio del XX secolo coesistettero diverse valute all'interno della nazione.
