Official Douwe Bob website. Douwe Bob started playing piano at the age of 6, initially concentrating on classical music and jazz. He took up the guitar at age 14. As a singer he was inspired by country, folk and pop music from the 1950s to the mid-1970s. In 2012 he won the first edition of the Dutch talent show "Beste Singer-Songwriter Van Nederland". In 2016 Douwe Bob represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Slow Down". Winner of two 3FM Awards and three Edison Awards and several top 40 hits. In 2023 Douwe Bob was part of the 'Beste Zangers' television show. On Valentine's Day 2024 the sixth album "Where Did All The Cool Kids Go?" is released. This album includes the hit singles "This World Is Our Home" and "Nothing To Lose"
