Drancy (prononcé /dʁɑ̃.si/ ) est une commune française de la Métropole du Grand Paris située dans le département de la Seine-Saint-Denis en région Île-de-France. Ses habitants sont appelés les Drancéens. Deuxième ville la plus peuplée de l'arrondissement du Raincy après Aulnay-sous-Bois et devant Noisy-le-Grand, 5e sur le plan départemental et 18e sur le plan régional, elle était la 73e ville de France en 2015. Bien que l'histoire de Drancy remonte à la fin de l'Antiquité, la ville est surtout connue pour avoir été de 1941 à 1944 le site du camp d'internement de Drancy, principal lieu de déportation des Juifs parisiens vers les camps d'extermination nazis, pour la majorité des convois vers Auschwitz.
