== Characteristics == In 2010, political scientist Mark Beeson defined "ecoauthoritarianism" as "the decrease in individual liberty as governments seek to transform environmentally destructive behaviour." Unlike ecofascism, ecoauthoritarianism can be utilized by both the left and right wing.
