Elizabeth Violet Dowdeswell, OC, OOnt (* 9. November 1944 in Belfast, Nordirland als Elizabeth Violet Patton) ist eine kanadische Beamtin und frühere Untergeneralsekretärin der Vereinten Nationen. Von 1992 bis 1998 leitete sie als Exekutivdirektorin das UN-Umweltprogramm. Seit 2014 ist sie die amtierende Vizegouverneurin der Provinz Ontario und repräsentiert als solche das Staatsoberhaupt, König Charles III., auf Provinzebene.
