Elizium is a gothic dark metal band from Zoetermeer, the Netherlands. After releasing two demos, one in 1995 called 'War and Knowledge' and one in 2003 called 'Angel of Mistrust' they released their debut album in 2006 also named 'Angel of Mistrust'. In 2011 their second album was released called 'Relief by the Sun' followed by 'Elysium' in 2015. ==Background== Using sensational spelling, the album was named after Elysium, a conception of the afterlife that developed over time and was maintained by some Greek religious and philosophical sects and cults.
