Emmanuela "Emma" Marrone ( Italian: [ˈɛmma marˈroːne]; born 25 May 1984), often known mononymously as Emma, is an Italian singer, songwriter and actress.
After working with several bands, she gained recognition after winning the ninth edition of the Italian reality competition Amici di Maria De Filippi in March 2010, and signed with record label Universal Music.
