Eric "Monty" Morris (Kingston, St Andrew Parish, Jamaica, July 20th 1944) is a ska singer, considered to be one of the foundation artists of ska. Morris was the original vocalist for The Skatalites. Eric "Monty" Morris was born in Kingston, and grew up at Orange Street and in Trench Town, attending Alvernia Primary School.
