Erkerode ist ein Ort und eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Wolfenbüttel in Niedersachsen. Sie liegt am westlichen Rand des Höhenzugs Elm und etwa 17 Kilometer südöstlich von Braunschweig. Östlich des Ortes beginnt das rund 3 km lange Reitlingstal, das in den Elm führt.
