Eureka (nach griechisch ηὕρηκα, ich habe gefunden, Perfekt von εὑρίσκω, ich finde) ist eine Stadt im Humboldt County, im Norden des US-Bundesstaates Kalifornien. Das U.S. Census Bureau hat bei der Volkszählung 2020 eine Einwohnerzahl von 26.512 ermittelt. Das Stadtgebiet hat eine Größe von 37,4 km². Die Stadtlandschaft ist gekennzeichnet von tiefen furchenartigen Tälern, „Gullies“ genannt, und dem Redwood Forest. Bekannte Merkmale der Stadt sind die vielen viktorianischen Häuser und die Pulp Mill. Am 15.
